What counts as a “session”?
One session equals one visitor visit, using GA4’s standard 30-minute inactivity timeout. A returning visitor after 30 minutes of inactivity counts as a new session. Bot traffic that gets filtered doesn’t count toward your session total.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every self-serve tier (Pulse, Signal, Clarity) includes a 14-day free trial with full access to all tier features. No credit card required to start. Command tier engagements begin with a custom scoping call.
What happens if I exceed my session limit?
You don’t get cut off. Tracking continues uninterrupted, and overages are billed at tier-specific rates ($8/1K for Pulse, $6/1K for Signal, $4/1K for Clarity) at the end of your billing cycle. You’ll get a notification at 80% of your limit so there are no surprises. Command tier has no session caps.
Is there a contract commitment?
No long-term contracts required. All tiers are month-to-month. Annual billing is available at 10% off (paid monthly) or 15% off (paid upfront for the year). Cancel anytime.
Can I switch tiers?
Yes, in either direction. Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated charges. Downgrades take effect at your next billing cycle.

Which ad platforms does CleanClicks support?
Six server-side vendor dispatches: Google Ads (Enhanced Conversions), Meta Conversions API, TikTok Events API, Microsoft Ads Offline Conversions, GA4 Measurement Protocol, and Usermaven. Pulse includes 1, Signal includes 2, and Clarity/Command include all 6. GA4 and Usermaven are part of the Analytics Add-On on lower tiers.
How long does setup take?
Most implementations are live within 48–72 hours. The dashboard walks you through a 7-step onboarding wizard: add your domain, point a DNS record, install a lightweight tracking tag, connect your ad platforms, and configure your conversion triggers. DNS propagation is the primary wait; everything else takes effect in under a minute.
Do I need to remove my existing tracking?
No. CleanClicks runs alongside your current setup. Run both in parallel during validation, then sunset legacy tracking when you’re confident in the data.
Does CleanClicks replace Google Tag Manager?
For conversion tracking, yes. CleanClicks’ built-in trigger engine handles URL-based triggers, form submission detection, button click monitoring, scroll depth, and DOM element detection—all configurable in the dashboard without code. If you use GTM for non-tracking purposes (chat widgets, heatmaps), those continue alongside CleanClicks.
Is my data shared across clients?
